Jose Pedrals is devoted to poetry in several fronts: writes books of investigation on lyrics (fictionalized essays about poetry and life), reads poetry as a professional (he has performed around Europe, America, Asia and Africa), explains poetry in courses and lectures (in Universities, High Schools and Schools), spreads and disseminates poetry in the medias (currently at El País, Cadena Ser and the podcast “Tenim paraula” at 3cat), sets up poetic celebrations of all kind and periodicity (he lead for 13 years the historical poetic cycle of the Horiginal bar and directed the Barcelona Poesia festival from 2020 to 2023), places verses on the music of several composers, expands the showmanship of verse, etcetera.
