LABREU - PUBLISHERS

LaBreu Edicions is an independent publishing company and a self-managed organization. We aim to promote and spread poetry and high-quality literature in Catalan language. In poetry (Alabatre series), our ambition is to give recognition to some new and forgotten voices of authors, whose literary quality and ambition places them on the margins of success. In fiction, we aim to publish new promising young, daring, groundbreaking, surprising, quality writers who are beginning to be noticed within the Catalan language area (Cicuta series). In international fiction, we are after translating into Catalan some universal literary authors who have never been published in Catalan or who have been out of print and forgotten for a long time. We consider it’s essential to have them as part of our literary tradition (La Intrusa series). To sum up, we print what we love.
