We are Edicions del Buc, or just Buc. Although, now that we think of it, we are no longer plain vanilla Buc, for this year we have embraced Pruna into our catalogue. So we keep publishing poetry, according to our taste and temperament, to our meagre budget, but now we also publish essay. In the words of a marxist, kafkian publisher, who shattered frozen seas on his way west: “Go Pruna! To war!”. We are also not a young publishing house anymore: we are turning ten in 2024. And we continue to publish because it keeps us alert, which is to say, alive. And when the day comes, may the grim reaper not find us naked. May the scythe find us in a bookstore, or at some upscale book fair, promoting and selling our cutting edge pages. Raise the axes and go forth!
