Comanegra, founded in 2007, is an independent publishing company based in Barcelona. The team consists of five people led by the Director, Joan Sala. Comanegra's catalogue is defined as eclectic, and has publications that vary between practical guides, essays, plays, illustrated books for children and teenagers, and art books. The company is must known for its collection related to the history of Barcelona, and also the collection of short stories about emotions. Since 2017, Comanegra has also begun to publish fictional books in Catalan.
