CAPITáN SWING - PUBLISHERS

Founded in 2009, Capitán Swing have already published over 400 titles since then. We are specialized in non fiction books, mainly essays (politics, economics, feminism, history, environment issues…), biographies, memoires and journalistic chronicles. As publishers we believe that in order to understand the current situation, a rigorous analysis of the political and social relations of the past and present is necessary. Throughout the centuries, the social sciences and universal literature have been providing valuable tools for the assimilation of reality in every moment of history. That is why Captain Swing's main work is: on the one hand, recovering nuclear works of thought that have often fallen into oblivion or are out of print and, on the other hand, discovering new works that open debates on the main issues of our time: politics, environment, economy, social conflicts, inequality, communication, science, history ... Our books cover any topic that gives a greater understanding of the changing and complex reality that makes up our day to day.
